Protein Pumpkin Spice Latte

Well everybody, Fall is here. My calendar won't admit it, but I rely on Starbuck's calendar for these matters. If they say it's PSL season, that's all the evidence that my pumpkin-loving brain needs. So happy Fall, y'all!

I don't know about you, but I am OBSESSED with all things pumpkin. And considering the fact that a grande PSL has over SIXTY grams of sugar in one drink, I love finding healthier alternatives.

So here it is, ladies. A delicious DIY Pumpkin Spice Latte dupe that is protein packed and low in sugar. Sit back, throw on a comfy sweater (even if you have to turn on the A/C to do it) and enjoy!

Protein Pumpkin Spice Latte

1/2 scoop vanilla protein powder

¾ cup unsweetened almond, hemp or coconut milk

½ cup brewed coffee

2 ½ tablespoons pumpkin puree

1 ½ tablespoons heavy whipping cream

½ teaspoon ground cinnamon

¼ teaspoon pumpkin pie spice

Liquid stevia, to taste (start very small)

Whipped cream (topping)

1) In a large mixing bowl, whisk ingredients together well so that clumps are minimal.

2) Use a ladle to pour desired amount into your favorite coffee mug. You can save any remainder and put it in the fridge.

3) Microwave for 1 minute , stirring at 30 second intervals.

4) Top with your desired amount of whipped cream.

5) Sit by your favorite window, sip slowly and enjoy!
